The 2-layer nonstick interior and exterior coating eliminates the need for flouring pans, resulting in baked goods with a smooth crumb. All Kaiser Bakeware pans are safe up to 450 degrees F in the oven. Brush thin layer of butter or oil on interior of pan prior to each use. The butter guarantees perfect release and promotes a smooth, tightly sealed crust, even browning and good flavor. No need to line the pan with parchment paper or dust the pan with flour, which can produce an unattractive white crust. The 2-layer Nonstick Surface is designed to provide perfect release for baked goods that will be removed from the pan. Use of knives or sharp objects should be avoided, as they will damage the surface. Clean with hot water, soap and a soft sponge/dishcloth.
