Preparing Bundt Cake Pan for Cooking

While baking the Bundt cake, you do not have to be a culinary expert to bake in any of the Bundt cake pans available in various shapes. What you need instead is just the proper tools and the inside know-how of the process. The process of baking a Bundt cake starts with preparing your cake pan for cooking.

To start with, use a proper cooking spray for your Bundt cake pan. A spray of non-stick vegetable oil works well with a regular Bundt pan and while doing so make sure you drain out the excess oil from the pan. You can also brush pan with a solid vegetable shortening and dust lightly with flour.

When working with the batter avoid bubbles in it. To prevent the air bubbles slowly pour the batter in one corner of the pan and allow the batter to slowly flow in and around the pan design with a gentle tap on the pan to settle the bubbles.

Using spatula, genteelly push the batter to the outside of the pan towards walls as this will help the cake climb up the sides. This helps in having a fine design on the outside.

Bake and then cool for 10 minutes before inverting and your Bundt cake is read to relish.
