Terrines are the favorites of French chefs and as an experiment, which we feel has worked fine till date, have been used in the preparation of bundt cakes. The use is limited as most of us prefer the bundt cakes in the pans specially designed for them still some fine it interesting to put them into the terrines. And no doubt, with classic terrines, your bundt cake turns out to be equally appealing.
One of the popular terrines used in bundt cakes has a well fitting lid. This lid fits snugly on the rim of the terrines allowing moisture to be retained inside during the cooking process. This goes well with the bundt cake as moisture should be retained inside it. With that a vent hole in the lid of the terrines allows just the right amount of steam to escape, keeping the contents moist and flavorsome. That is why; the terrines are used well with bundt cakes.
